We are part of an international network of management consultancies. The Achievement Network was founded in the early 1990’s by Terry Murphy. He is based in London and is the driving force behind the Achievement Process and its many linked applications.
The Achievement Process has its roots in a core concept developed in the UK by Peter Millburn, an industrial psychologist who specialised in the study of human relations in industry.
Terry conducted an in-depth study of Milburn’s work. He found that it offered the potential for valuable self-insight and enhanced self-awareness. At the same time it could be linked directly to a management process for improving performance.
Thus a ‘two-sided’ approach to managing performance was established. It encouraged the development of specific skills based on objective self insight.
Today we use this Process to enable individuals, teams and organisations to improve their performance, to achieve business goals and to meet ongoing challenges.
